Final of the project “healthy future” in the Kotovsky education and rehabilitation centre (ERC)
Here comes the end of our sports-oriented project. During last 6 months our children from Kotovsky ERC have been diligently cultivating their abilities. In April we visited them, awarded medals and a cup to the best sportsmen. But most of all children were awaiting a Fair. We delivered different kinds of sport equipment, stationery, books, and goods for hand-made works. It was a pleasure for children to spend their earnings (“radiks”), and what was a pleasure for us that almost each kid bought some sport equipment for further sports activities. It means that our goal is achieved!

The same was a final of the project in the Gorlitsia ERC, except that it was even more intensive: sports quest reinforcing skills and knowledge after the project; communication and consultations of the trainers regarding further sporting development. But the most interesting happened when children understood what a Fair means - that was a first change of radiks into goods for them. Inflamed eyes, happy faces and sense of pride in their achievements!
HELPING PROGRAMME FOR PEOPLE IN DIFFICULT STRAITS “NEIGHBOUR CARE”
Visiting wounded soldier in the military hospital.
On Easter Eve our volunteers and students of the centre “Learning to live” visited wounded soldiers from ATO area in one of the Dnipropetrovsk hospitals. We really want to share with you impressions from the visit, but it is difficult. They had gone through hard and horrible times, but they didn’t lose their manhood and love of life. The soldiers wrote letters to our children wishing them hope for the best and patience. We also wish all our Defenders a speedy recovery!

Examination of 6 children in the Adastra clinic
In April together with our partner, Adastra clinic, we arranged medical examination of 6 children from Derevianko family based care home. These wonderful children are students of our centre. In Adastra clinic they passed ultrasound investigation. There are 11 children in the Derevianko family that is why such help was very useful for them. We want to thank you to the whole collective of Adastra Clinic for regular warm receptions!
