WE NEED YOUR HELP IN EQUIPPING SHELTERS

During these days, a lot of new shelters for the forcedly relocated people are being set up and opened in Dnipro. Previously these were driving school rooms, kindergartens, state schools, even wardrobe areas. And now all these rooms are to provide shelter for the people to spend a night, or several days, or more.
All these places need mattresses, pillows, linens, hygiene products, and food rations to take for traveling; those rooms equipped with kitchens and kitchenettes need food stock. The foundation is addressing all these needs each day, either by buying needed goods or setting up direct cooperation with the suppliers.
For example, for the one shelter set up in the wardrobe area of a factory (see photo) we delivered 75 pillows, 75 linens sets, and a half of needed blankets. When the shelter opened, there were only some mats on the floor, and now people can spend nights here with much more comfort. This shelter still needs some extension cords (bobbin and standard ones) and water supply.
There are two options for staying in the shelter:
* transit stay, when people from the hottest parts of Ukraine are coming to spend 1-3 days, take some sleep and rest, take a shower, and eat. After that, they either continue their journey to the Western Ukraine and further aboard by their own vehicles or wait for some organized transportation.
* permanent stay, when people do not have the possibility to travel further (families with many children, families of the servicemen, who are currently on the military service, or people whose medical condition does not allow transportation).
We need your support to equip as many shelters as possible!
