OFFLINE WORKSHOP

We are already used to our online activities. However, we have an unusual educational season ahead of us, because we already know that in the whole Dnipro region all education activities will take place online starting from September. This becomes a big challenge for us. After all, it is not very motivating for children to study online five days a week and then learn information from us online, no matter how interesting and useful it is.

So now, where it is possible, we are trying to conduct our activities offline in order to understand whether it will be possible to switch to a mixed format of our trainings b̶o̶t̶h̶ o̶n̶l̶i̶n̶e̶ a̶n̶d̶ o̶f̶f̶l̶i̶n̶e̶ o̶n̶e̶s̶ with the beginning of the new academic year.

As a pilot, we organized an offline workshop in an IDP family, for the youngest children. There were 6 of them, and each one created their own picture with the support of coach Maryshka Kovaleva and their mother. It was a picture of a dandelion, a dandelion that you can blow on after making a wish.

The workshop took place at this family's home. Children were interested and had fun. Creativity does not require special knowledge and skills, so everyone coped very well with their work.

This visit was also a good reason to provide the family with some stationery: paper, paints, colored pencils, etc. Now children can have creative fun on their own.
