WE START THE WEEK WITH THE PSYCHOLOGIST CONSULTATIONS IN SHELTERS

Today, the foundation team visited a shelter (temporary home for displaced persons) set up in one of the factory offices of our city. The management has repurposed the office spaces to host people. Even those spaces, which were under reconstruction before the war and have not been finished yet, are currently used for accommodation.

This shelter can host 40 persons. There are people from Mariupol, Bakhmut, Kharkiv, Severodonetsk, etc.

Today our psychologists Yulia and Victoria have started psychological consultations for the shelter residents. The main topics are stress, our behavior and specific reactions in this condition. It was a group session; we're going to share more details about it soon.

We asked these people how we could help to make their stay more comfortable, what we could do to make them feel more confident. We're already thinking about excursions that would allow displaced persons to learn more about our city, about meetings on important everyday life topics.
